Each year, hundreds of wedding fairs take place up and down the country. Most of my weekends are booked up as I perform at weddings, so I don't get to attend many wedding fairs. Frequently I receive invitations to these events, which can charge hundreds of pounds a time! Of those that I do go to, it just doesn't make sense for me to pay to attend - as well as missing out on another day's work at a wedding, it puts me out of pocket, too.
However, I have started attending some local shows free of charge, as a preferred supplier. Often, there are some other unusual stands as well, such as photo booths and caricature artists. This makes the event stand out amongst the rest of the wedding fairs, growing the event's brand and reputation. This is a fantastic arrangement which benefits everyone involved.
